The Fuels we have today? you many need to re-tune you'r older engines to suit to days modern fuels.
"We do all of our tuning 'in house' on Land & Sea system Chassis Dyno Rolling Road"
BOI Performance has just released a new range of custom Cold Air Box's Intake to suit Weber DCOE, Dellorto, SU or EFI throttle bodies.
We have been developing our range of product based on our customer needs, as can be seen with the back to back Dyno testing with our own Chassis Dyno.
All Air boxes are made in High Quality Fiber Glass with a Aluminum Air Craft Quality 4mm base plate (to resist cracking) complete with full seal & 5mm Chassis bolts.
Our fibre glass parts are hand laid with Vinylester Resin as it is stronger, more flexible, better chemical resistant and higher temperature tolerance than cheaper Polyester Resins.
The air intakes start at 100mm (4") OD, this will support most engines from 4Cyl to 6Cyl engines. Some engines require larger intakes, of 5" or even 6", depending on the application and space available.
As can be seen on the Dyno sheets, it improves range of torque from 2500 to 6500RPM.
This also substantially reduces air intake temps by ducting intake to outside of the engine bay for further power gains. Provides a useful reduction of induction noise. (Both on the road and for Track Days).
